After an eight week buying/shipping process, spending another month checking the bike over and learning the details, I cranked it up and rode it this morning. Just a couple of miles as I want to respect a break in period.

I want to say thanks to this site and members for all their advice both direct and indirect via the posts available here. Special thanks to Carl-Eric for responding to my direct emails with incredibly detailed answers and suggestions. Also, to George L. Yarocki for the videos (and Jeff for filming them) in the Members section.

    I appreciate the help.

Thanks for asking me to write about my experience and publishing it in WOW. I read the article and saw that I had made a mistake though. The throttle on my 101 is on the right. In the article I wrote the opposite. Should have read "...the throttle has been placed on the right".
