The 101 Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization for devotees of the Indian 101 Scout Motocycle - for the use, preservation and history of this famous motorcycle - to provide a repository for the safe keeping of motorcycles, literature, parts and other related items in such a manner as to assure the availability of same for study and observation - and to provide a medium of exchange for information relating to said antiquities.
Membership is open to anyone with a keen interest in the Indian Scout. Our main focus has always been the Indian 101 Scout models built between 1928 and 1931, but we are finding more members generally interested in Indian Scouts.
We have over 250 members in 17 countries. Membership is not limited to 101 owners, and we DO cover many facets of the early Scouts, although you will find us MUCH more interesting if you have a keen interest in 101s.
We publish a quarterly newsletter, the WOW, which includes club news, pictures, and technical information.
We have an active Internet presence. This web site has both public, and members-only pages. The latter include our discussion list, past issues of the WOW, the parts list, and more.
We also produce and sell the Repair & Overhaul Manual. Updates to the "R&O" are included with the newsletter each quarter, and posted for members here.
Dues are currently $20.00 per year for residents of the US, and $30.00 for residents of other countries (to defray additional postage expenses). In 2009 we are introducing a $5.00 discount for members who elect to receive newsletters electronically. You may join for the current year and for any previous year(s). If you join for a previous year, we will send all the materials that were mailed in that year.
Please contact us if you have questions or need assistance.
