I’m in the process of building a 1927 Indian scout engine and would like to get this on the road as soon as possible. The engine is the only bit of the bike I have the plan is to build this into an old non-Indian frame for now, which I would like to chop up to fit the engine. For me to progress I need some dimensions:

    • 1)      Centreline distance kick start shaft to engine chain sprocket

    • 2)      Centreline distance gearbox  frame support to centreline chain sprocket.

If you have these dimensions, I would appreciate if you would share these with me.

    regards,

    Harry

To take those measurements is a bit trickier than one can think, I got a bottom piece of a 101 frame and if you mail me I can send pics and we can discuss how you like it measured
