Greetings all, new member here, just purchased my first 101; a 1928 101 Scout mid restoration. You have probably seen this one, it was advertised everywhere.

 I hear the association R&O manual is the definitive publication. I am seeking this and any other books that outline basic repair and overhaul, and books on restoration and information on making a 100 point bike. 

Now, I have been playing with big chiefs most of my life and have ABSOLUTELY NO intention of building a show bike but I do want to understand what the trade offs are to make intelligent decisions about where to draw the line and what it makes sense to spend the extra dime on.

I ride my bikes and want to build an authentic rider with resale in mind as I do tend to see a shiny objects and have to sell something to get it.
