A question about generators

    translation:

Hello. I own a 101 made in 1929 in Japan.

I'm a new member who just joined recently

First of all, my English is pretty bad.

I don't know if I can explain it to everyone, but I have a question.

It currently has a 6V generator, but I would like to upgrade to 12V.

Is there anyone using a DU-5 (DU-7) replica sold on crazyhorse?

Are these parts durable in terms of performance and service life?

In Japan, 6V electrical components and light bulbs are becoming difficult to obtain.

I want to upgrade to 12V and use it for a long time. If anyone is using it, please let me know.

Thank you for translating this into English.

I intended to translate it into English and post it, but it seems I ended up posting it in Japanese.

I have had good success with the Crazy Horse DU-7 generator in my 1927 Indian. The owner, Mark, has been very good to work with on a number of different projects. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply. I feel very relieved to hear that information. I will consider introducing it myself.
