    Thanks John, No  Reserve too, should be interesting. Looks pretty much all there, carb needs a bit of adjustment by the sounds of it, but running and riding .......

    I wonder if Mecum ever will change a couple misleading things in their description of this 101, such as :

    • Parallelogram fork suspension
    • Dry multi-disc clutch

    And there's another in the AMCA magazine this month:

    "1930 Indian 101 Scout $30,000 Mike (484) 509-7345 PA"

    No other details...

    The 101 Scout at the Mecum auction went for $44,000 ($40,000 hammer price plus 10% buyers commission).

    It looked like the paint was touched up between the time the photos on Mecum's website were taken and today. All of the paint scratches, scrapes and nicks seemed to have disappeared in the auction block video.
