Folks please be aware of the following I have just received from the IORNZ about a fellow member Mark Lockers 101 and 741.

Please if you have any suspicion either bikes end up internationally or broken for parts and distributed contact either myself or IORNZ via editor@indianmotorcycleclub.co.nz.  See notification below:

If you have been following face book posts, you will already be aware that two Indians belonging to Mark Locker have been stolen.

Mark is in the process of moving house and had the bikes moved into a storage lockup in Levin (north of Wellington). It seems local scumbags have noticed somehow and helped themselves.

They were stolen in the early hours of yesterday Wednesday 16/04/25. Police Case File number is 250416-8617.

Please reach out to your contacts in your motorcycle circles to be on the lookout. You never know where they may turn up.

If you are a member of other MC vintage clubs whether national or local, please let your contacts know. Lets make them unsellable!!

    1929 Indian 101 painted red.
    1942 Indian 741 rustic / aged patina.

I have a set up in both Trade Me and Ebay where I receive daily email notifications of Indian MCs and Indian parts for sale. Please do the same if so inclined. We may be able to find them this way? I dearly hope they are not dismantled for parts sell off and we can get them back intact and undamaged.

    Many thanks Harry.

I was recently at the annual IORNZ rally (I think the write up maybe in the next WOW) and riding out with both bikes, Mark on his 741 and Tim his brother riding the 101 both of them salt of the earth Indian riders and Kiwis.

I pray for a happy ending too.

So sorry to hear this , hope it has a happy ending . What are the engine numbers and frame number (741) ?

I also have notice from ebay and 'carsandclassics' for Indians . So will keep a look out .

Also will advise the Indian Riders GB and some dealers although do not expect them to travel this far . Good luck and hope you get them back just as they went . Best wishes , Ken
