Left twist spiral S1414Y

Hello:  I am trying to restore the mag twist on my handlebars as it moves the mag arm the wrong way when twisting the right grip counter clockwise.  I bought this twist from Walker, but it looks like a right twist and the standard is left twist.  Can some of you look at this and give me your thoughts?

    Thanks.

    Hi Bob,

Walker sent you a spiral that is opposite hand to the original, so it wont work unless you buy another one for the throttle sleeve and then swap the throttle and advance cables to the other side of the handlebars.

I had the same problem, ordered 2 spirals to restore both sleeves. Got 2 of the same spirals as you, which were labeled with part numbers SS1414Y, same as in the factory parts list. I emailed Walker to ask if I was somehow mistaken in what I needed to order but I never got a response.

The attached pictures shows my original on the left and Walker's on the right.

Walker has contracted me by phone and has confirmed that the spiral is wrong.  He said that they got them from a supplier.  They are looking into the issue.  I will update once I know more.

Thanks Ken,  but I would like to be as original in function as possible.
