Hello everyone.
A little story I wanted to share with the community. the other day I get a text message from a family member who is into genealogy. They have alerts set on eBay for all of our family names. the text I got simply read “look what I found on eBay. I think this was your grandfathers” along with a link. Of course I immediately clicked the link to find a 1941 Indian motorcycles dealership sales brochure. When I looked a bit closer it was stamped with my grandfathers name and shop address! Of course I instantly hit buy it now and it is currently sitting here on my desk awaiting a nice frame to be displayed in my study. It’s amazing to think he handed this to a prospective buyer back in the 40’s. It has been god knows where between then and showing up on eBay in Tennessee. Now it’s home.

Very cool story! And very cool graphics, too!
Thats a great find, Daniel. Your grandad came up in conversation at Oley at the weekend, Alan Tonges remembers him well. Book the weekend in your diary for next year to bring your fathers 101 :)

I am sad I wasn’t able to make it down there again this year. I did have the scout running this weekend though so at least I had a little fun.
looking forward to getting some rides in with some of the 101 members this season.
Congrats on the maiden run, look forward to seeing some pics.
It was pretty amazing! I have been working on the bike at my moms. (Empty garage) and that happens to be right next door to what was my grandparents house. It has been quite a long time sense that street has had the sounds of an Indian twin on it. My girlfriend even caught a picture of me coming up the street with the chain link pole light my grandfather welded up when he built his house there. It even still has his fabricated 30 sign on it. Hope he was looking down smiling.
