I am a new member to this site, can someone point me to where I would be able to find a part manual for 101's.  I am looking for illustrations with part numbers.  I have looked through this site but not found what I need.

    John,

My bike came with the shop manual that the association product is very useful. I believe it was the one listed as the R&O manual. I see the link to that under the publication section is broken unfortunately. Maybe Tim can suggest where you can get one.

I came across this the other day. Neat to see parts listed for under a nickel.

Hi John, will check into availability of parts book reprints, not sure who is doing them now. They are by no means complete on the picture front tho, unlike say a 1970s Triumph parts book. You can find what the originals look like in the members only area of this site, if you go to the parts lists section and click on illustrations, that will show you what is in the factory parts book.

The shop manual is still available, will look into that link for you.

Also worth a browse of the Walkers website for pics to identify parts you need, so you know what they look like if you come across them at a swap meet.

I have a pretty exhaustive collection of pics taken for reference over the years too, if there is anything particular you need a picture of, ask away.

    cheers,

    Tim R

The parts book you're looking for, and a wealth of other documents for our Scouts, are available for download (for free) from the Antique Motorcycle Foundation library.  It's accessible with your AMCA membership.
