First thing I see is your case thickness casting varies, I went and checked two  cases i have one is very linear the other varies    10 thou over the front edge  .Put a square on the magneto platform and look at the   timing case  errors  .     The critical thing is that the gears are aligned and parallel to each other and have teeth clearance .
