Exhaust Project For Sale

I was lucky enough to obtain a repro exhaust system from Kent Thompson a while back, so I'm letting go of the one that came on my '29. It's partially original, partly home made, but I figure somebody can use it - maybe as a starting point, or maybe for a unique bike. The nuts and headers appear to be proper 101 parts, the remainder is not. No muffler to speak of, just pipe. Your neighbors will love it. Two Jiffy Stands For Sale

#1 is the correct jiffy stand that came with my '29 project. It has been brazed, and the center metal boss that the stand rotates around is partially broken away. I decided to not use this one when I found a better example at Davenport. One nice feature is a reaction arm that mates up with the frame and prevents the stand from rotating around the frame tube. Asking $200 plus actual shipping.

#2 is a Norton side stand that was recommended to me. Ordered from Andover Norton in the UK. Asking $150 plus actual shipping.

Hi everyone! im in need of the saddle clamp parts for early chief/scout.the yoke are a standing iron bar and has 2 quadrant washers which embraces the yoke at the rear end and has a star teeth pattern outwards.also the 2 links whith the same teeth pattern which locks into the washers whith 2 round headed bolts.i need it for a excelsior 1919.i believe its the same parts as for indian.best regards.

Greetings fellow 101 Enthusiasts . with warm weather out of the norm the other day here in upstate NEW YORK, I was kicking my '29 101 over when the Kick lever broke off at the pedal . Of course I had two and sold my spare on ebay a few years ago for a whopping $99.00. Now I see there are only the polish reproductions at $375.00. Yikes I have bought stuff from the site. and it is Good quality however that is crazy and does/will welding cast Iron really work, This is a carpenter asking a dumb welding Question Please help with a kicker lever for sale or will other levers fit?

Hi everyone!

Ive had a few people look at my crankcase half (the left side) and they have condemned one of the cracks as being fatal. At some point, my family had the bushing end bored out and an oversized bushing installed, and it cracked the drive flange( the part where the clutch housing attaches). Does anyone have any leads on a crankcase half or crankcase that’s repairable? Thanks!

The bike was built as a template for many bobbers Francis Clifford built, sport scout cylinders, bonneville cams , recirculating oil with a mid thirties oil pump grafted on. Not one for the purist, but a great piece of history with provenance that is a fine example of what was being put together when originality wasn't a concern and performance was, by an Indian legend who knew what he was doing.

The engine and tranny have been recently rebuilt.
I built this motorcycle with my father Francis Clifford, a motorcycling legend from San Francisco.
Included in the sale of this motorcycle are:
- Extra tank
- Extra magneto
- Notes I took when we built the bike along with photos
- Historical photos
- Special Bonnyville cams and lifters my father used as templates for other Scouts he worked on.
Please understand the bikes we built were meant to be ridden rather than serve as decoration. So if a Honda rear wheel bothers you, or my improvement on the muffler system, this bike may not be for you. However it would take very little to return to stock if you choose to go that route.

We are looking into machining a 741 manifold for this purpose, but I'd prefer a 101.

This is the cast steel bracket that clamps the Corbin drive gearbox to the frame tube and is for rear chain sprocket drive.

I am reluctantly offering my 1929 101 Scout due to health reasons.

All the expensive and time consuming work of finding and purchasing the right parts and doing the machine work has been done.

I moved to New Zealand in 2011 and brought the bike into the country

What you see on the photos is what you get and additionally the following smaller parts:

New wiring harness
New chain
Petcocks for petrol and oil shut-off
New nickel plated oil lines and gas line
Brackets for magneto and carburettor wires and tool box, all nickel plated
Speedometer drive gear, nickel plated
Working Corbin speedometer with bevelled glass and nickel plated mounting bracket
Black speedometer cable
Generator belt guard

This makes the motorcycle 99% complete I suppose and it only needs to be painted and probably some nuts and bolts need to be nickel plated or replaced.

1926 Indian Scout w/sidecar 37ci

For Sale-SOLD-1926 Indian Scout 37ci with a princes sidecar. This motorcycle was meticulously restored to museum quality condition 30 years ago by a well to do car/motorcycle collector in Denmark. This bike did sell a Christies Auction in Denmark in 2001 and then some how made its way to Wisconsin USA from where I purchased the bike and sidecar. Every aspect of the Indian is original and everything is in complete working order. I have personally road this bike over 1500 miles in the last two summers. It has a strong motor - smooth trans- everything works mag - amp. meter - generator - oil meter - lights front and back - horn. The paint dose have some dings and scratches as to be accepted with a bike that has been ridden - not just looked at. YOU WILL NOT FIND A MORE HONEST BIKE AND SIDECAR ON THE MARKET !! Also I will stand behind this bike 100 % this is not a buyer beware sale. Just a retired guy who has come to the time when it is time to let go. 28/29 101 Wanted in Original Condition

I have a few completed Indian restorations, mostly in original "Barn find" condition. I also help a few collectors source bikes and undertake the restorations. I have a collector that has most Indian models except a 101! His preference is for a 28/29 750 101 in original condition with original paint to add to his collection He is willing to pay the correct market price for the right 101. If any one has a bike that may suit him let me know.
